Angela's entrepreneur journey began at age of 15, where she sold her clothing designs at a local boutique downtown Guelph.
 

She began her studies in Fashion Design in 2002 and launched her own clothing brand. Within 3 years, she developed her own clientele and showcased her designs at local fashion shows. This earned her a spot on the runway at Toronto Fashion Week and represented Canada at the Young Designers Competition in Paris. During a published interview, Angela was asked where she saw herself in 10-15 years, she responded, “owning retail store on Queen Street West”.
 

Angela’s career detoured in 2005, when she came across a marketing and branding opportunity in the restaurant industry. She spent the next 6 years rebranding Ben Thanh Restaurant and developing other restaurant brands. She successfully expanded the business to 9 locations across Western Ontario. Taking on an additional role as the opener, she moved from city to city launching multiple locations. This was the beginning of the strong interest in turn key businesses and the discovery of her strength in developing brands, businesses, and teams.
 

In 2009, Angela felt the need to diversify and begun her real estate portfolio of rental properties in several different cities. By 2010, Angela had launched 9 restaurant locations, co-created 4 different restaurant brands and 1 kids indoor playground brand, and owned 6 rental properties.
 

In 2011, Angela moved to Toronto and landed an opportunity to play a small role in the reality series “Keasha’s Perfect Dress” on Slice. Working along side with Keasha from TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress”, she was reminded of her love of fashion and textiles.
 

In May 2012, Angela achieves her goal of owning a retail store on Queen street West with the opening of The Store On Queen (also known as TSOQ). Angela spent 8 years developing the brand and business. March 2020, the physical store closes its doors and Angela decided it was time to pivot her energy in other projects.

Currently, Angela is working on three new projects. A fashion retail store called aka.THE STORE, a dessert QSR named Happy Sundae and photo studio/event space called Scenes Studio.
